Your Opinions and Comments

8 / 10
A good supernatural thriller about a man coping with loss.
Costner gives a very good performance, as do Bates and Hunt.
The video transfer is very good. The transfer does not reveal any compression signs and the dark scenes (plenty of those) are rendered beautifully.
The DTS and DD 5.1 soundtrack are both good. The surrounds are used very nicely and add a lot of atmosphere to the movie.
The menus are all animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary by the director, a behind the scenes look (which also includes an interview with a woman who had a near death experience), 9 deleted scenes and some production notes.
Bottom line - a good movie with some fine acting that was somehow overlooked in cinemas.

"Dragonfly" revisited - February 2004
****************************************
Upon a second viewing (exactly a year after the first one), the movie is still stunning!
It`s truly intense throughout, and the actual knowledge of what`s coming next does not interfere at all.
The main theme of the movie is probably "never give up - believe!". Costner believes. We believe, and by believing we get a chance to experience a fascinating thriller.
Don`t miss this one - it will leave you gasping for air and never (EVER) wanting to adopt a parrot.
