S.O.D. ( Stormtroopers Of Death ) are a metal/hardcore crossover band and were formed in 1985 by Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and drummer Charlie Benante. Joining them were former Anthrax bassist Danny Lilker and vocalist Billy Milano. They recorded an album, Speak English Or Die in just 3 days and it has since gone on to sell over a million copies worldwide. 7 years of inactivity later, the group reformed for a one-off gig in New York. This DVD features that gig and a show at Germany`s With Full Force festival in 1997.

Both shows were shot on camcorder and as a result, the picture quality is not the best. However, it`s still watchable though. The sound quality is actually reasonably good.

There are quite a few extras on this disc. The main one is an audio commentary from Scott Ian. Scott seems to spend more time talking about how gay he looks with a ponytail then about the band. It`s a good track all the same though. Next is a interview with the band and thier former manager Johnny Z and his wifewhere they talk about the 1 million+ sales of Speak English Or Die. This is quite funny because most of the time they`re just goofing around. This is followed by all four band members tracking for the album Bigger Then The Devil which was released in 1999. Finally, we see the band by their `luxury pool`. All these can be watched continously or in parts.

Overall, this a very good music DVD with quite a few extras. Recommended for fans of brutal music.
