The classic story gets a rather dull treatment by Disney.
The video transfer is good. there are no compression signs, but the animation is awfully simple (no CG in this movie).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is average. The surrounds are rarely used, but the disk does contain 8 soundtracks (in English, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Hebrew and Greek).
As usual, the Disney disks do no contain any extras.
Bottom line - only children can enjoy this famous story. The DVD itself is very poor.
