A truly fun movie to watch, especially if you are into the teen-semi-slasher genre.
This is a scary (yet funny, at times) tale about cheating death and avoiding being caught by it.
I loved this movie the first time I saw (region 1 disc) it and now I`m the proud owner of this region 4 disc, which is almost identical to the region 1 disc.
The video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs and the picture simply oozes detail. The special effects are quite nice and are intended to make you leap out of your seat rather than to show you plain ol` gore.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good. The surrounds are used throughout the movie and will really make you feel as if death is lurking behind you. Watch out for the scares - they work well, even if you`ve seen the movie already.
The menus are beautifully animated with sound. Notice that there are at least 4 sets of animated menus, which are randomly chosen.
The extras include 2 commentaries by the director and the crew, a featurette about the screening process, 3 deleted scenes (including an alternate ending which didn`t work in the screenings and was, therefore, altered), a documentary about premonitions and 2 interactive games.
Bottom line - a fun teenage horror and a very good disc, as well.
