Synopsis:
From the director of `Swingers` comes a black comedy (with a superb soundtrack) tracing the outrageous misadventures of a group of young American delinquents.
18-year-old check-out girl Ronna (Sarah Polley - `The Sweet Hereafter`) is trying to score some rent money before she is evicted on Christmas Eve. Accompanied by reluctant partner in crime Claire (Katie Holmes - TV`s `Dawson Creek`), she embarks on her first drug deal...
Meanwhile, impulsive Brit Simon (Desmond Askew) is driving a stolen car with buddy Marcus (Taye Diggs - `How Stella Got Her Groove Back`) during a no-holds-barred night of partying in Vegas, as tv stars Adam (Scott Wolf - TV`s `Party of Five`) and Zack (Jay Mohr - `Jerry Maguire`) find themselves in the middle of a real life drug sting - and a very creepy Christmas dinner...

Your Opinions and Comments
Good job I rented this DVD instead of buying it!
The movie wasn`t deep and didn`t have any particular message but it was entertaining, and that is what counts in the end.
Soundtrack was great, and I thought the extras were pretty good, in fact, shame that some of the extra scenes didn`t make it into the movie...
This film is almost as funny as Spinal Tap, and it definately feels more alive than Pulp Fiction, its closest relative. I think i can associate with the characters in this film, or maybe not....but some situations i can, anyway i am losing site of what i am writing about....
Some of the situations are totally memorable.....`tantra baby`......
The soundtrack is full of groovy sounds, riffs and funky bass-lines and it sounds ace on my speakers so imagine what it would be like on a top quality setup.....mmmmm
The deleted scenes are pretty good, my fave being the tiny adlib......` word `
` ....anyone for more wine?`
` er....no...he doesn`t want anymore.....unless he does.....do you? `
Content:- Fairly funny, fairly scary and fairly realistic. The action was all well directed and the characters were all presented nicely. Sweet.
Video:- I dont think this has an anamorphic transfer but it looked good all the same. The various bright neon lights looked as sweet as the daylight bits did. All was well as far as I could see.
Audio:- Fricking wicked tunes man, with some mega stompin` bass. It all made me wish I had bigger speakers and at least 5 sub-woofers. Aye.
Features:- Quite alot of stuff actually. The deleted scenes are pretty boring and the documentary is a joke but there is plenty of stuff here to please most folks.
