Where to begin? This movie stunned me. I was never expecting something so grand in a TV movie. A brilliant storyline that was based on Arthur Conan Doyles classic novel. The Screenwring is superb as is the brilliant acting.Shot on a very low budget and with no known actors(except Bob Hoskins), this move is brilliant to watch and surpasses all expectations. An epic adventure, watch it all from start to finish and you will be truely satisfied.
The picture looks fantastic and is one that some hollywood studios would be proud of. The sound is a gorgeous 5.1. The commentary by the director is well worth hearing and the making of is a 30 min long interesting documentary on, you`ve guessed it, the making of the movie.
Worth every penny
