Well what can i say about this DVD but SHAME! I couldn`t watch this film in the cinema because of its limited release at UCI venues only so eagerly awaited its DVD rental release.

So fars as to say i was highly disappointed with the quality of the films transfer...not in the film...from what i could see.

The film is let down in one huge area, the brightness of the transfer is set well too low. Since most of the action takes place at night this problem is exacerbated to the point where during certain scenes the picture quite literally is blacked out!
All you get is the grunting and clashing of swords and armour.

This was extremely frustrating and put me off buying this DVD.

Shame on Touchstone for allowing the region 2 transfer to get to this state. As for me i`ll think i get a region 1 copy.

This is, by far, the dummest movie I`ve ever watched on DVD.
I don`t have a single good word to say about the movie.
The plot cannot really be called "a plot", since it is simply not there. The characters never get a chance to get fully developed and the acting sucks.
The video transfer is way too dark. Most of the night scenes lose a lot of details, thus leaving the viewer guessing what is actually hapenning on the screen.
To top it all, the so-called special effects are hillariously bad.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack cannot salvage the movie as well. It is very ordinary and not spectacular at all.
The disk contains very few extra features, which did not bother me at all since I had enough of this movie half way through it.
Do NOT rent this movie even at gun point. A total BOMB!

this movie could easily been made by cannon in the 1980`sits that bad as for a $100 million plus budget.well i could well believe that the millenium dome would of put up the cash for this pitiful film.

Laughable in the extreme. I`m suprised it hasn`t destroyed all their careers
