Synopsis:
Catering college student Robin Tripp sees nothing wrong unusual about sharing a flat with two girls, Chrissy and Jo. Indeed it works well, except when his flatmates try their hand at cooking, or his natural male urges get the better of him and Chrissy is forced to defend herself - albeit a trifle unwillingly. Further dampening his chances however is the presence of landlord George Roper and forever glamour-chasing wife Mildred, who live downstairs.
When the Roper`s house becomes the target for the demolition gangs of large property developer, Mildred and tenants become embroiled in a campaign to stop the plans going ahead which means lobbying the local MP and George himself.

Man About the House is the hilarious film version of the favourite 70s TV sitcom, featuring the original cast in the form of Paula Wilcox, Sally Thomsett and Richard O`Sullivan plus the landlord and landlady from hell in Brian Murphy and Yootha Joyce, who went on to have their own sitcom, George and Mildred.

Now the first thing i noticed was the movie was not in widescreen. The print is ok.but it has many scratches. The movie is funny and is uncut, which makes a change because on TV,the Duo from Love Thy Neighbour scene usually gets edited out. Many british TV Stars appear. However there are no Extras.
