Your Opinions and Comments
The video transfer is not good. There are quite a few compression signs in several scenes and grain is evident in various dark scenes.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ok. The surrounds are used during the fight scenes, but the soundtrack isn`t as explosive as you`d expect.
The menus are partially animated with sound.
The extras include a short behind the scenes look, some production notes and some DVD-ROM features I couldn`t access.
Bottom line - a really bad movie and not a good disk as well. Avoid.
There are many dark scenes and there is a distinct lack of sharpness and clarity in these scenes. Overall the picture quality is decent with some good outside scenes with good detail. The sound is mediocre and nothing special. There are a few decent features but because the movie is so dull, you wont wanna waste time with these. A modern day remake of Alexander Dumas` classic novel has so much potential and could be very great. This however was a huge dissapointment. Dont waste your time with this.
