Synopsis:
America, 1970. FH is getting stoned; scamming a quick buck and trying to make sense of an intense but destructive relationship he shares with a beautiful young woman, Michelle. He is also driven by an overwhelming desire to help those around him but finds himself repeatedly failing. Bit by bit however, he stumbles to sobriety and the road to redemption.
Based on a collection of short stories by cult novelist Denis Johnson Jesus` Son is the second feature from acclaimed director Alison Maclean (Crush). An excruciatingly funny story of a young man`s journey through 70s American drug culture, Jesus` Son stars Academy Award nominee Samantha Morton (Sweet and Lowdown) and Billy Crudup (Almost Famous), with an outstanding supporting cast including Holly Hunter, Denis Leary and Dennis Hopper.
