Your Opinions and Comments
With names like Atkinson, Cleese (with the ugliest teeth around) and Goldberg, I was hoping for a rollercoaster of laughs. Well, no rollercoaster in this park. Sorry folks.
While the script has many funny and semi-funny situations in it, the movie is not funny all together.
Atkinson is not given enough chance to act his slapstick humor and Goldberg is basically numb throughout the movie.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs and the outdoor scenes look great.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ok. The surrounds are used for several sound effects, but not that often.
Notice the song at the final scene. It`s also the opening song from "Shrek".
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a behind the scenes look, 6 deleted scenes, some outtakes and some semi-hilarious phone interviews.
Bottom line - an average comedy with a fine cast, that, alas, has nothing to do in it.
This bears up well compared with the classic IT`S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD.
OK, its not quite THAT good, but its clean, its fun, it`s zany and funny throughout,
How many movies of recent vintage suit teens, oldies, and kids alike? Answer. Not many, but this one does.
A hit for ages 6+ in our house!
