Your Opinions and Comments

8 / 10
An ordinary fantasy about a dragon slayer that makes friends with a dragon. Once you live the first 30 minutes, you can actually enjoy this movie.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs, the dark scenes are nicely rendered and the CG animation looks nice.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ok. The surrounds are mainly used to simulate the dragon`s flight. Other than that, the sound effects are ordinary. However, the disk boasts 8 (!!!) soundtracks, 5 of which are in full DD 5.1 - very impressive.
The menus are still and with music.
The extras include a commentary, a 45 minutes behind the scenes look and some production notes.
Bottom line - an ordinary story brought to life in a nicely done disk.
