Review of BB Mak: Live in Vietnam, Music In High Places

Introduction

BB Mack is yet another "Music in high places DVD". I mustn`t be clued up on the youth music culture but I`d never heard of these guys either. So yet again I get a music DVD, let`s make a coffee and settle down for BB Mack.

Video

Again this is average digital TV fair with same artefacting which really doesn`t do justice to the fabulous scenery of Vietnam. The only thing that was cool, according to my husband, was one of the groups green M*A*S*H* 4077 T-shirt. He wants one!

Audio

Audio is still warm and ambient with all the 5 surrounds used to good effect. The bass is strong and the guys perform well. But their styling wasn`t to my taste.

Features

Limited to promos of the band and other "hidden" promos for other M.I.H.P. DVDs.

Conclusion

Not my cup-of-tea musically but the disc performs well sonically if not visually.
