Synopsis:

If there is anything I hate about foreign movies, it`s their dubbing. However, since I can`t stand French and since the English dubbing was excellent, I watched it in English.
Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. This movie turned out to be a very good thriller (excluding its last 15 minutes).
The video transfer is good. While there are no compression signs and the locations are beautiful, the dark scenes suffer from a lot of grain.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack (yeah, the English dubbing is also in DD 5.1) is very good. The dialog is very nicely dubbed through the center speaker (while maintaining very good realism) and the surrounds are used for various sound effects.
The menus are nicely animated with sound.
The extras on the first disk include 2 commentaries (alas, in French) and the second disk contains about 2 hours of behind the scenes featurettes, storyboards, picture galleries, multiple angles scenes and explanations about the special effects.
Bottom line - sure, nothing can beat an American or a British movie, but this movie proves that the French can have very good movies every once in a while. Too bad the movie is ruined by a very dumb ending.
