A really good film that brings you into fantastic world in which money does matter!!!!(not so different from the real one isn`t it)
We really see how love can change you, BUT THERE ARE ALSO LOADS OF FUNNY THINGS:for istance the secret society of sex....everybody does it but nobody say anything!!

The commentary, which should be alway present, is quite good even if I prefer the ones with the actors also because they are more fun.
The ending of this film is so good, it cheers you up so immensely that it makes you forget all your troubles!!
It`s definitely worth seeing it!!!!No bullshit!!

A really horrible adaptation of "Dangerous Liaisons".
The acting is so unconvincing and the characters are so shallow and undeveloped.
Gellar and Phillipe better stick to horror. At least there they need not act.
The video transfer is average, although I could not spot any compression marks.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is as basic as it gets. As far as I noticed the surrounds were used only twice, although the dialog was always centered and clear.
The menus are static and simple.
The extras include a behind the scenes look, a commentary track (which I did not bother to check), 2 really bad music videos and some deleted scenes. Nothing to salvage this movie, though.
Bottom line - try to avoid this senseless adaptation. It`s a total BOMB.

I really liked this adaptation of Les Liasons Dangeureuse, although that might have something to wiht the fact that both Sarah Michelle Gellar AND Reese Witherpoon are in it… plus there's the lesbian kiss… and all the se…ahem! Excuse me, I mean it's a great adaptation.

Er… anyway - on with the disc. The video transfer is pretty good. and the DD5.1 audio is just what we want for the great soundtrack… the disc is even blessed with some half-decent extras (although at the risk of repeating myself - they are only half decent).

The 5 minute Behind the Scenes featurette has some cast & crew interviews and the rest of it is self-promotional clips from the film - not really worth bothering with. We also get a crew commentary that is nice to have (although it's a little muddled at times - still some interesting stuff). Can you guess what the director's favourite line in the film (hint: it'll be the same line as every bloke who has seen this film!). There are 5 deleted scenes with an introduction from the director for each scene (it's always interesting to see why a scene was deleted, even if the scene itself isn't that interesting). We also get the US trailer, 2 music videos, & filmographies.

Overall, the film will not appeal to everyone, but if you enjoyed the film then this is a pretty decent disc.
