Synopsis:
A remake of the classic `feel good` 1947 film, the heart-warming story of a young, sceptical girl`s desire for a fully functional family with a daddy and baby brother. She confides in Kris Kringle (Sir Richard Attenborough), who is acting as Santa in the department store that the little girl`s mother runs. Kris Kringle, however, believes he is the genuine Santa Claus and his passion increases the business of the department store - something that annoys rival stores so much that they begin trying to discredit him.
This action ends in the law courts with Kringle and his lawyer needing to prove that he really is Santa.
