Synopsis:
Rabid is the chilling story of Rose and the nightmare that begins when she is critically hurt in a motorbike accident. Rose is placed in the care of pioneer surgeon Dan Keloid, who used daring and experimental surgical procedures to save her life. Though successful, the operation leaves her in a deep comma. During her recovery period, her body responds to the treatment in a terrifying manner, she awakes with a ravenous appetite for blood... The terror spreads as her victims, driven into frenzied rage, in turn attack and contaminate others. First the clinic, then the countryside and finally the city...
