This was a great film in the cinema, but has been hacked to pieces during it`s transfer to DVD. For a start the film has had scenes removed from it for no apparant reason and that makes understanding the plot all the more difficult. This coupled with a poor transfer onto DVD and no extras makes this a film to steer clear of.

unlike the excellent first two episodes of the trilogy:
Please note that this region 2 release has all the violence edited out. As far as I am concerned this is unacceptable, a great film butchered for no good reason. I would love to kick
the a$$ of the person responsible for this appalling decision.
STAY AWAY.

when sky movies showed this film it was the full version, when this was first released we had to put up with a bad cut version, it is now re-released and it is still cut, so i would recommend that you get the region 1, i know i will

Oh my god, this film is so cut, at first I thought there was something wrong with my DVD player.

I`m amazed that they managed to get away with ruining what was a great film.
