One of the best films of the 1980`s get`s its first showing on DVD. The Transfer is reasonably OK, the picture is a little soft, but it was shot like that(soft filter were used quite alot in the mid seventies to early 80`s. Pino Donaggio`s score comes out well in the mix. Definately one to savour, although it has to be said not the defintavie version of this movie on DVD. Look for a Lauren Baurzio produced version in the not too distant future.

I find the transfer satisfactory for the moment :)

Ignore the other review of this film, read Pauline Kael`s review of the film!
