Your Opinions and Comments
I wasn`t expecting much since I read this is a "golf movie", but to my surprise, the cast and the plot were very good.
The video transfer is very good. A big part of the movie takes place on the golf course. Most of the shots are beautifully rendered, showing natural colors and hues. There are no compression signs and no scratches as well.
The DTS and DD 5.1 soundtracks are both very good. The surrounds are mainly used for directional sounds (swings, crowd cheering etc.).
The menus are all animated with sound.
The extras include only a short behind the scenes look. Kind of disappointing.
Bottom line - a very good story which is beautifully presented on a good (yet almost extra-less) disk.
