Your Opinions and Comments

8 / 10
A great thriller about the famous Romanian villain, this time in the 21st century.
Vampire movies are so much fun, but most of them suffer either from a lack of plot, bad acting or unnecessary gore. This one, however, doesn`t suffer from any of those flaws.
The video transfer is excellent. The scenes are rendered in beautiful colors (notice the scene with the red curtains) and no compression signs can be spotted.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good. You can see (hear, actually) what you are in for in the beginning of chapter 2 - a great work from the surrounds.
The menus are, oddly enough, static and silent.
The extras include a nice commentary by the director and screenwriter, 3 extended scenes, 4 deleted scenes, a behind the scenes look, several storyboards and auditions of some of the actors.
Bottom line - a combination of action, thrills and lots of long teeth. Recommended.
