Life just hasn`t been the same for Ed Chilton (Buscemi) since Mother (Miriam Margolyes - The Age of Innocence) passed away. Now sharing her house with his cantankerous Uncle Benny (Beatty), whose favourite pastime is peeping on their spectacularly sexy neighbour Storm (Sam Jenkins), Ed quietly keeps the memory of his beloved mother alive.

One day A.J. Pattle (John Glover - Gremlins 2) walks into Ed`s life. A salesman by trade, Pattle retails an unusual product... life. For a price he promises that he can bring Ed`s mother back to life, just the way she used to be!
