One of the best Kevin Costner`s movies since the Dances with the wolves! The story of Robin Hood has been filmed many times and so fat this is the best one.The cast is quite good with actors like Brian Blessed, Alan Rickman, Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman exct.+ Sean Connery appears in the end (more value to the movie). The transfer could have been better, even it ain`t so very bad.Video is ok in the out scenes, but in the castles & caves it look quite mess.I noticed some color changes is the end fight, but it`s good enough to get 6 of 10.
Audio is better, but no deepness in the sound and music sounded a little flat, but ok, so 7 of 10.Features are maybe poorest I have ever seen, so 1 of 10.If you`re not a fan of Robin Hood, the you should wait for the special edition of Robin Hood the prince of thieves, if it`s even coming...

A pretty good film, with some fantastic moments due mainly to the ever-brilliant Alan Rickman, who steals every scene he’s in. Kevin Costner even got the script changed because he felt that Rickman was getting too many of the ‘good lines’.

The disc itself however is disappointing. Picture & Audio are OK, but really should be better…. but this pales into insignificance when compared to the quality of extras. Does “nothing” actually have a value… oh, yes… it’s 0/10!

Great film, shame about the disc (although it seems to be on offer everywhere – 9.99 from play.com – but you can pick it cheaper elsewhere).

This is a really good film with sound and extras being a let down.
