Synopsis:
Enter into the world of seven strangers - each of whom find their lives changed when their fates collide at gunpoint. Helen (Joan Allen) and Warren (Jeff Daniels) Harding are an affluent couple on the brink of divorce. Their separation causes their lives to intersect with eclectic and tormented individuals including a paranoid computer mogul (Gary Sinise), an adulterous lawyer (Andre Braugher), a disillusioned cop (Robert Forster), a jilted lover (David Schwimmer), a video store manager (Josh Brolin), a street urchin (Anna Paquin) and her schizophrenic brother (Giovanni Ribisi).

Through a series of coincidences, this unpredictable story touches the lives of each of these strangers, lovers and acquaintances and examines the anger within us all.

So many stars. So many guns. So little movie. That about sums it up for this movie. It deals with the obsession for guns, but never makes sense and gets too complicated
due to its multiple plots and sub-plots. The end result is a senseless and boring 95 minutes of nothing.
The video transfer is average. While there are no compression signs, there are numerous scratches and dust particles all along the movie.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is disappointing. While the movie is mostly dialog driven, I expected at least the various gun scenes to utilize the surrounds, yet they are hardly ever used.
The menus are all still.
The extras include a commentary and a behind the scenes look.
Bottom line - despite the great cast (who cannot act much due to the lack of script), this is a total BOMB. Avoid the rage. Avoid this movie.

Bit of a weird one this… lots of inter-woven stories that are all supposed to come together at the end, but they kind of don't. On paper, it's a great cast line-up with some fairly big names - Robert Forster, Gary Sinise, Joan Allen, Jeff Daniels, David Schwimmer, Anna Paquin and Giovanni Ribisi among others.

Unfortunately the script really is not strong enough to hold it all together, and what could be a very good film with some serious points to make, is instead a bit of a mess.

On the extras front we have got a director's commentary that I could not bring myself to listen to, a 15 minute making of with interviews from the cast & director which is above average, brief bios & filmographies for the main cast and a trailer.
