Synopsis:
Combining two episodes from Season 8, "This Is Not Happening" and "Deadalive", Deadalive begins with the discovery of two returned abductees in short succession, who both vanished just before Mulder. One is dead and the other is barely alive but Scully`s hopes are raised that Mulder can be found. Aided by Skinner and a sceptical but protective Agent Doggett (Robert Patrick), she tracks down the alien healer Jeremiah Smith for his help. Whilst talking with him about the alien`s plans, Scully is alerted that Mulder has been found…dead.

In this thrilling X-File, many questions are answered, but just as many new ones are posed. Will the origins of Scully`s baby be known? Can Skinner break free from the terrifying hold Krycek has over his life? Will Doggett turn down promotion to stay at Scully`s side? Are aliens really walking the earth? And can Mulder really be brought back from the dead…?
