Synopsis:
Thought-provoking media satire from Spike Lee.

African-American TV writer Pierre Delacroix is asked by his boss Thomas Dunwitty to devise a new kind of programme which will make the headlines. So he comes up with Mantan: The New Millennium Minstrel Show, a variety show set on a plantation which is so obvious racist and offensive that the audience will be up in arms. Unfortunately, the programme is a major hit. Delacroix`s ratings keep rocketing, but they peak on a day that will change everything.
