A nice little movie, that while having an ambitious cast, does not pretend to be that big a deal. Its simplicity probably does the difference.
The video transfer of both the widescreen and the fullscreen is good. There are no compression signs and the picture is always clear, even during the dark scenes.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is ordinary - nothing too fancy. Since this movie is basically dialog driven, there`s almost no usage of the surrounds.
The menus are all still.
The extras include a commentary by some of the actors and actresses. That`s it.
Bottom line - a nice movie with a simple story and a fine acting job by Philip Seymour Huffman. Give it a try.
