Your Opinions and Comments
Plot? Well, for a movie that`s supposed to be a thriller, the plot is too far fetched.
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs and the action scenes (pretty much 80% of the movie) are impressive. The colors are nicely saturated and the few CG scenes look pretty natural.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is good as well. The surrounds are used pretty much throughout the movie and the dialog is always clear.
The menus are animated with sound.
The disk offers no extras at all.
Bottom line - a full throttle action thriller with a plot that will leave you smiling in disbelief.
Both video and audio are excellent, but what lets this DVD down is the lack of extras. There`s an "action overload" feature which consists of a huge 60 seconds worth of action clips from the film, which I think puts it right up there in the `worst extra of all time` league table. There are also limited biographies for the main cast and a trailer for Pearl Harbor.
Altogether a bit of a let down - a decent action film with a good transfer let down by the lact of extras. Having said that at least it isn't the flipper version... and I suppose the menus were easy to use.....
