7 / 10
An ordinary thriller that is accompanied by a dreadful disk.
Both Garcia and Thurman are doing some fine acting jobs, but the plot is a bit predictable.
The video transfer is average. While there are no compression signs at all, some scratches can be detected frequently. The colors are very desaturated, thus a lot of the details are lost during the dark scenes.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is flat. While the occasional score is good, the surrounds are hardly used at all.
The menus are all still.
The disk has no extras at all.
Bottom line - an average thriller, but a bad, bad disk.
