Pulp Fiction is a violent and brutal adult film which has a cast full of high profile actors/actresses, its also a very cleverly directed motion picture.
The Story is about a couple of Gangster`s heavy men (Gangster-Marsellus Wallace-Actor Ving Rhames Heavy #1-Vincent Vega-John Travolta and Heavy #2-Jules Winnfield-Samuel L. Jackson) going about their business or should I say their boss`s business which basically consists of killing people that dont see eye to eye with Marsellus, also contained in this story are the lives of Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) a Boxer who has a big fight imminent and happens to know Marsellus Wallace, a couple who rob restaurants for a living (Pumpkin-Tim Roth and Honey Bunny-Amanda Plummer) plus some other people who fill out the story to make a film which runs for a full 2 hours and 28 minutes. There are however some very clever twists to this film which stop it becoming a bore (long films often do in my opinion) but you may need to watch it a second time to understand what is actually going on.
The acting in this film is first class in almost every case but the actor that stands out for me is John Travolta he is superb 10/10 to him followed very closely 9/10 for Samuel L. Jackson.
The film keeps my attention everytime i watch it (about 4 times now including a couple of times on VHS) I find something that I missed in previous sittings jumping out so blaringly obvious that I wonder how I missed it the first time round.
I doubt I have to actually say this but I think the film is excellent, being the first DVD I have watched I was very impressed with the quality (both picture and audio) although having read some reviews on this site before now I think maybe the actual Title is lacking in `extras` there are no additional scenes or interviews with the stars theres nothing that this DVD has to offer over the VHS version except the quality of picture/audio (oh and its in Widescreen) and the fact that you can start the film in one of twenty seven different places. But I must stress for anyone who has not seen this film that its worth every penny, I would also point out though this film is not for you if excessive swearing offends you.The film is actually rated as an 18

Yes I agree with what the other guy said (cant remember his name).

Pulp Fiction is my all time favourite film and was first on my list of dvds to buy when I first got my player.

This version does the film justice tremendously and is a fantastic copy of the film. The transfer is perfect, as far as I can see. The sound was awesome (on my stereo speakers) and all the songs were brilliant, gunshots and dialogue crisp and clear throughout.

The fact that there was no extras on this film did not bother me at all as the film is so epic. I still love watching Samuel L Jacksons speech over and over.

John Travolta is too fat though.

9One of the must-see, must-own classics of the 1990s. Just don`t hold out too much for extras.

Let`s hope there`s a special edition of this released soon. Otherwise this will go down as one of the most cocked up DVDs in history.
