Your Opinions and Comments
While there is not that much real acting in the movie, the script is good and the characters are well developed.
The video transfer is amazing. There are no compression signs at all. The movie includes two very different color palettes - A yellow-red one in the opening scene and a white-blue-grey one in the rest of the movie. The contrast of the colors is great. The transfer makes sure even the tiniest details captured are rendered. If the opening scene doesn`t make your jaw hit the floor, you must live a very high adrenalin life.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is one of the most violent I`ve heard. The surrounds are used throughout the entire movie and the sound envelope is amazingly effective.
The menus are all animated with sound.
The extras include a good commentary by the director and producer, an extensive behind the scenes look, explanations about the visual effects (unbelievable) and a National Geographic documentary. All in all, the extras are really good.
Bottom line - an extremely good action thriller that will not give you time to breath.
