Synopsis:
Some of the greatest acting talents on both sides of the Atlantic help Hollywood icon Al Pacino unravel the mysteries and challenges of portraying Shakespeare s most intriguing and charismatic villain: Richard III. Pacino and the likes of Kevin Spacey and Winona Ryder look for Richard through rehearsing and performing scenes from this popular and bloody Game of Thrones -style classic.

Pacino himself travels to British Shakespearean landmarks, such as Stratford-upon-Avon and London s Globe Theatre, to seek further answers from eminent Shakespeare scholars, members of the public and luminaries of the British acting scene, including Vanessa Redgrave, Derek Jacobi, Kenneth Branagh and John Gielgud, regarding both Richard III and Shakespeare s role and relevance in the modern world.
