Synopsis:
Ritu Bhardwaj (Mahima Chaudhary) is the daughter of the rich industrialist Shyam Prasad Bhardwaj (Alok Nath), who lives with her blind grandmother, and niece Ria. Ritu sees the return of her childhood friend Rahul (Sudhanshu Pandey), who has just completed his police training. Rahul has a soft spot for Ritu and falls in love with her, but doesn`t let his feelings be known.

Ritu and Shyam jet off to Canada and while there they encounter Dev Kumar (Akshay Kumar), also a rich industrialist, who helps Shyam out when he is attacked by a mugger. This one event leads Dev to invite both Ritu and Shyam for a meal and during this meal their relationship begins to develop.

Eventually both return to India and after a few days Dev also comes to India, to lay the ashes of his recently deceased father. He decides to settle down in India and asks for the help of Shyam to help and guide him. This helps Dev get more closer to Ritu, who she is beginning to take a love interest to. But what she doesn`t realize is that there is a dark side to Dev which shows the true colours of evil...
