Synopsis:
From cult director Abel Ferrara comes this autobiographical and intense psychological drama about the making of a film.

Hyper director Eddie Israel (Harvey Keitel) gives the leading part in his new movie to an old friend, coke-fiend Francis Burns (James Russo), and the leading lady role to Sarah Jennings (Madonna), a mainstream actress looking for credibility. As the three embark on affairs with each other, and an increasing amount of drugs are consumed, the fine line between reality and drama is purposely blurred by Ferrara, and the dangerous stakes begin to rise.
