I just got this disc as part of the complete series box set. I have been a fan of all the Anderson puppet series. I have the Thunderbird box set already and the Stingray discs are even better .. well perhaps the shows themselves aren`t quite as good, but technically the discs are great. The menus are really nicely animated cg representations of the inside of the stingray boat. There are also some nice extras (extras on the Thunderbird disks were a bit weak). There are some original audio programs and best of all directors commentary .. well only for a few of the episodes (just one episode on this first disc), but it`s a start ! The only minus thing is that the audio hasn`t been redone in 5.1 like Thunderbirds. Stingray is strictly the orignal mono sound
