Synopsis:
Cape Town in South Africa is home to some unique baboon families. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Table Mountain, this series follows their stories as they struggle to survive in this busy and exotic urban landscape. 

Bill Bailey knows baboons aren't as bad as everyone thinks they are. As an active patron of the Sumatran Orang-utan Society Bill is an informed enthusiast when it comes to primates and his passion infuses this series. His unique perspective and humour comes across as he tops and tails each show from on location and voices the baboons' stories. Bill's own encounters with the baboons are also inter-cut into the unfolding animal docusoap.

Expert wildlife crews will film the baboons lives with a keen eye for animal behaviour and interpreting its significance. There will be feuds, fights, romance, family, life and death. There will be story lines to rival Coronation Street and Emmerdale! Characters will emerge whom we will get to know and look forward to returning to again and again.
