Your Opinions and Comments
It would be a shame then to release a second rate DVD, yes it would be a shame, so it’s a good thing they haven’t. The Spaced DVD is, so far, is the best TV show disk to date. The LoG disk is excellent, but let down a little by an average transfer, (of maybe my player, Samung 709, firmware 328). The Spaced disk positively shines the transfer is great. Also we get an amusing commentary from Pegg, Stevenson and Co. Extras include all the trailers, comprehensive bio’s, very funny outtakes and deleted scenes with commentary.
Minor Niggle, the transfer seems to lose contrast during one point in the disk as if someone has flipped a switch during transfer causing a quite visible change in the scene, (When Jessica is lying on the sofa) however this doesn’t affect the enjoyment of the disk. Look out for it. Personally I think most of these DVD transfer houses need a good kicking.
The best thing about this disk, like LoG’s, is its infinite watchability. Unlike films which you watch once and then spend the rest of the time looking good on the shelf. Please release more TV on DVD. Roll on Spaced Series 2 and Log2.
