Your Opinions and Comments

I had never heard of this film until it was leant to me by a friend, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a romantic comedy with some nice moments in it, but that's about it. The script is very witty in places, but very unoriginal in others, making it (overall) a fairly average affair, boosted by good performances by the 2 main cast members, Famke Janssen and Jon Favreau.

The video transfer is good, and the audio is also fine - the soundtrack itself is very good though. Extras are a little thin on the ground. There's a trailer, animated filmographies of the main cast & the director (the animation is actually quite annoying if you want to read it faster than it is scrolling!), and a 30 minute video of the directors experience at the Sundance festival which is interesting and amusing in parts.

Worth watching the once, but not really one to buy.
