When I first put this disc on the first thing i noticed was the absolutely amazing picture. Its amazigly sharp in comparison to most films. The anamorphic widescreen presentation is quality. A landmark in Hindi dvds. Surely the rest should be as good if not better than this.
The sound is also very clear and loud and feels almost real. The song and dance sequences in this film are awesome and therefore dolby digital 5.1 was essential
The menu is animated and looks pretty good. What puts me off is the series of really long boring adverts at the beginning of the disc which are impossible to skip.
The film itself starts of really good. Rohit is a charming young lad who works honestly to look after himself and his young brother who are both orphans. He meets this nice girl and feels on top of the world. Sadly this was too good to last and he was killed off. This produces alot of emotion but it was stupid move to kill off such nice man. Then things start to go very silly(typical of bolllywood) The girl then meets a man who looks exactly like Rohit called Raj. He is a modern guy, very unlike Rohit and he got on my nerves. He sort transforms in an instant from an innocent guy to Rambo in a flash(very believable.lol.) The second half spoiled what I thought was going to be a good movie
The features were appalling. A whole disc wasted on what felt 5-10 mins. Interviews were decent but apart from that there were clips award show which is silly because who cares? So it won a few awards, they dont need to show us the evidence. A live performance of a song that is already in the film(with an almost identical dance sequence)
Overall its a fine achievement in picture and sound quality but otherwise, nothing new worth bragging about
