Review for NBA Street Series: Court Essentials

5 / 10

NBA Street Series: Court Essentials should really be called 'You want to be an NBA star?' As it really goes through the whole process of training and becoming an all time great. Those people who think they should be in the NBA because they have scored a couple of baskets should watch just what these people go through to be the best. Th.e seventy minute show goes through some of the basics demonstrated by the greats including LeBron James and Tracy McGrady. The action and stories are great, but the real problem I have is the constant interruptions by Chingy. Who? No, I have no idea who he is either. His comments remind of something that Troy McClure would say in The Simpsons and really were not necessary and stopped the flow of the show.

As well as some great footage, it also has Special features that include six highlight featurettes including the Top Ten Dunks from the 2004-05 Season and Highlights from the 2005 NBA All-Star Skills Challenge. Of this adds up to a wonderful disk, that without the presence of Chingy, would have been a must have item.
