Synopsis:
This is the ultimate road movie, directed by Ron Howard, who also stars as Sam Powers, childhood sweetheart of Paula Powers (Nancy Morgan), daughter of the influential Bigby Powers, a candidate for State Governor.

Paula's parents want her to hook up with them creepy rich kid Collins Hedgeworth, so she and Sam steal her daddy's Rolls-Royce and head for Las Vegas intending to get married and live happily ever after.

Bigby promptly offers a $25,000 reward for the safe return of his daughter, unleashing a posse of vehicles determined to catch the runaway couple before they get hitched and culminating in some of the most spectacular car chase scenes ever.
