Synopsis:
After hearing the haunting Song of Kagome while walking home one evening, young Kaede Hiramoto (played by new Japanese teen idol, Kii Kitano) discovers she has just 48 hours to live before her soul is taken by an evil and vengeful yokai. Her only hope lies with Kitaro, who must figure out a way to perform an exorcism to banish the yokai and save Kaede's soul.
But first, our hero and his friends will have to find the five magical instruments required to perform the counter-spell before Kaede's time on earth runs out. As they desperately search for the necessary pieces to the puzzle, the gang runs into the meddlesome interference of an old spirit known as Nurari, who has an altogether more apocalyptic plan that will affect not just Kaede and Kitaro but the whole human race.
