Jackie Chan stars in this film - it was the one which shot him to stardom in China (along with Drunken Master). While I prefer Drunken Master to this, as it is much funnier, Snake In The Eagle`s Shadow is still worthy of your money.
HKL have done a good job with remastering the picture, and although it has been cropped from 2.35:1 down to 1.78:1, it does not detract from the action, as most of it takes place in the centre of the frame anyway.
Sound comes in Mandarin and English, and there are new remastered subtitles.
There is an impressive selection of extras for a film of this age, and I recommend you buy this disc if you are a fan of Hong Kong movies.
