Synopsis:
Disguise the limit in this hilarious heavyweight hit that`s "bigger than Mrs. Doubtfire, and badder than, Tootsie"! (Mike Cidoni, ABC-TV) "Martin Lawrence brings down the house!" (E! Online) as crafty FBI agent Malcolm Turner - he`s willing to go through thick and thin in order to catch an escaped federal prisoner.

"Nia Long is captivating" (Checkout.com) as Sherry, the con`s sexy former flame - she might have the skinny on millions in stolen bank loot, and she`s headed for Georgia to lay low for a while.

That`s enough to send Malcolm deep undercover as Big Momma, an oversized, overbearing Southern granny with an attitude as tough as her pork chops. The result is a genuinely clever comedy caper of epic proportions, filled with nonstop laughs and tons of fun!

Martin Lawrence, the star of Blue Streak acts in this comedy as an FBI agent who takes the identity of Big Momma to help him catch a criminal. Only instead of being a good comedy with some solid laughs it turned out to be a total disaster that was hard to sit through. The film seems to get distracted from its main purpose and instead of trying to catch the criminal, Martin Lawrence fools around through most the film leaving us with an hour of unfunny, dull, and pointless humor.

This dvd is presented through anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen and it looks surprisingly good for its genre.

The audio options include
Dolby Digital Sourround 2.0 French/English
Dolby Digital 5.1 English.
Sounds good and clear.

The Special Feautres for this dvd aren`t bad at all. Some deleted scenes, bloopers/outtakes, music videos, trailers, tv spots, commentary, and more. Quite a few options.

Watching Big Mommas House is a complete waste of time. The plot leads to nowhere and its like watching one big 90 minute long immature joke. Some good features, great picture, and nice sound. However, who needs good sound and picture quality for a crappy film anyways?
