Synopsis:
America`s funniest family is back for seconds!

Eddie Murphy is hilarious when he stars as the entire Klump family in this enormous comedy blockbuster. The hilarity begins when professor Sherman Klump finds romance with fellow DNA specialist, Denise Gaines (Janet Jackson), and discovers a brilliant formula that reverses aging. But Sherman`s thin and obnoxious alter ego, Buddy Love, wants out... and a big piece of the action.

And when Buddy gets loose, things get seriously nutty. Now, it`s up to Mama, Papa, Ernie and Granny Klump to throw their weight around and save the day in this whopping, gut-busting comedy Good Morning America calls an "incredible piece of filmmaking." Applauded by audiences and critics alike, Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper give Nutty Professor II: The Klumps "two thumbs up."

Your Opinions and Comments

I`m not a fan of Eddie Murphy. I cannot say, however, that he is not talented. He IS talented. Very talented.
Nevertheless, this movie is missing its point. It`s almost never funny anymore. It just plain pathetic. Most of the characters are not developed at all and are just behaving rudely.
The video transfer is very good. All the effects are rendered very well and the transfer shows no compression marks at all.
The makeup is incredible and it`s just amazing how many different characters one actor can act.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good as well. You are bound to love the "spoon effect" and some other nice usages of the surrounds.
The menus are partially still and partially animated and are accompanied by music.
The extras include 2 commentaries (I listened to parts of them - nothing too exciting since Murphy is not them), a deleted scene, some outtakes, a behind the scenes look, a time lapsed look at the makeup application and some storyboards to final feature comparison.
Bottom line - a sometimes hilarious but mostly pathetic movie. Go for the first one in the series. Give this one a miss.
