Synopsis:
Exiled to Earth in the late 20th century by his own people - the Time Lords - the newly regenerated Doctor arrives in Oxley Woods alongside a shower of mysterious meteorites. Investigating these unusual occurrences is the newly-formed United Nations Intelligence Taskforce - UNIT for short. and the onscreen production and information notes, made me look at this story in a new light. The sound (as to be expected for a programme 30 years old) is mono, but is very clear and the picture is excellent also, but what really makes this disc stand out is the number of extras included. There are photo galleries (included many unseen photos) trailers for the recent repeat, are short UNIT recruitment film, and even an "easter egg" (click on the `DOCTOR WHO` logo on the main menu screen!) I recommend this disc for both fans, and vintage television buffs alike!
