Synopsis:
In The Liar (Valehtelija) Ville Alfa (Aki Kaurismäki), an overly intellectualising hyper-manic young drifter, cannot stop telling lies. His fabrications allow him to seduce girls and borrow seemingly endless amounts of money from friends, family and complete strangers. But lying about the death of his brother lands him in hot water.
