An incredibly childish and sweet-do-death movie, but boy - what a great disk.
The movie tells the story of a CG mouse that wants to be loved, a mean cat and a geeky family. As simple as that.
the video transfer is very good. There are no compression signs and the CG animation is incredible.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is adequate. There`s almost no usage of the surrounds whatsoever. There are, however, 6 dubbed soundtracks (none reach the level of the original English track).
The menus are all animated with sound.
The extras include a lot of material: 2 commentaries, a behind the scenes look, deleted scenes, a great CG featurette, a picture gallery, some outtakes, a read along feature, 3 music videos an interactive game and an arcade game.
Bottom line - if you can handle the extremely childish theme of the movie, you`re bound to appreciate its great looks, plus the disk itself is worth a look if only for the extras.

What a great family film. Not usually my sort of thing, but you can`t but help like it. It will suit both kids and adults alike. The picture quality is excellent, and the animation is absolute top notch, setting the standard up to a new level. Sound is also good with dialogue very crisp and clear, and well accounted for in the action scenes. The extras are the best i`ve seen to date, there are loads of them! including games for the kids. Overall this is a great family movie, very funny at times mostly involving the devious cats, and has a great feel good factor, fun for everyone with plenty of extras to go back to
Brilliant stuff.
