Review of Amityville III

Introduction

Released at the same time and by the same company as Halloween III (see seperate review) my hopes and expectations for this title were a little tainted from the start.

I hope you`ll understand.

Video

Poor. Thats the only way i can describe the quality of the picture on this disk.

Soft, continually jerking around and of a standard that should not be presented on this format without some form of apology.

Audio

DD2.0 soundtrack that tries it`s hardest.

Could do better.

Ooooh, a menu.

Conclusion

From a purely technical point of view, this release is too similar to Halloween III in it`s video and audio presentation to warrant a purchase unless you are an avid fan.

How much longer will production companies insist on releasing sub-standard products on a media that the purchasing public expects top quality visuals and audio?
