Synopsis:
Adventures Of A Taxi Driver
The first of the Adventures Of… series follows the exploits of taxi driver Joe North (Barry Evans) who tires of life with his nagging mother and moves in with best friend Tom and his stripper girlfriend. With a new lust for life he finds that his job is a good way to meet the ladies - cue all the fun and frolics of your typical 70s sex comedy, with breasts aplenty and more than a few surprising cameos. Watch closely for the likes of Robert Lindsay, Diana Dors, Judy Geeson, Dave Carter, Brian Wilde (Foggy in Last Of The Summer Wine), Ian Lavender (EastEnders' Derek) and Graham Ashley (Mr Garfield in Grange Hill).

Adventures Of A Plumber's Mate
Plumbing is the ideal premise for (ahem) toilet humour, and this film doesn't miss a single opportunity. Plumber's mate Sid South is sent to fit a new toilet seat and accidentally disposes of the old one, which happens to be made from stolen gold. With characters including Crapper, the film really characterizes the silly, bubbly humour of the 1970s, and is probably the closest out of the three to the Carry On films. Again, Christopher Neil takes the lead along with the regulars and three Grange Hill teachers, Smiler from Last Of The Summer Wine (Stephen Lewis), Christopher Biggins, Elaine Page and Arthur Mullard.

Adventures Of A Private Eye
While the boss is away, the assistant will play. A private eye's assistant, Bob West takes advantage of the absence of an authority figure and jumps at the chance to investigate the case of a former model who is being blackmailed with saucy photos showing her in compromising positions. It's amazing the filthy lengths women will go to in order to protect their reputations. Christopher Neil takes the lead role, joined again by Diana Dors and Dave Carter and respectable Grange Hill regulars Graham Ashley and Anna Quayle, as well as William Rushton and Jonathan Adams.
